What a Website Actually Costs

Most studios make you sit through a sales call to hear a number. We'd rather show you ours, and explain exactly what moves them.

Where the math gets done.

Ask most web studios what a website costs and you'll hear two words: "It depends." Ask again and you'll get the second verse: "Every project is unique." Both are true. Neither is an answer.

Prices stay a secret for about two reasons: they're high enough to scare you off, or the studio hasn't decided what its time is worth. Neither applies here, so let's just do the math in the open.

Where websites start

These are the real starting points. Not teasers, not "as low as" fictions. The actual figures.

A redesign means the bones exist and the nerve is missing; we put the nerve back. Past ten pages you're not building a site, you're building a publication, and those get quoted around a real structure conversation.

And the identity number buys a real list, not a mood board: a primary logo, a secondary mark, color and font selections, a short usage guide, and two revision rounds. Defined on purpose, so nobody wonders what they paid for.

What moves the number

The words

You write, we edit for rhythm and cut for nerve: $75 a page. The studio writes, original copy from your information with one revision: $175 a page. Or the words aren't the problem, the voice is, so we start with a sixty-minute session and a short voice guide: $250 flat. Then the words have somewhere to come from.

The photos

Placing your photos costs nothing. We build the pages around yours, always. If there are gaps, we plan honest placeholders and a photo plan at $0, and if you'd like us to find images, sourcing runs $125 for up to five or $225 for up to ten. You approve every selection, and you license directly, so nothing between you and the photographer gets weird.

The clock

A steady project costs nothing extra. A circled date costs nothing either, as long as we plan backwards from it. A genuine rush adds 25%, minimum $250, and only if we confirm we can truly meet it. A rushed promise nobody can keep isn't a rush fee. It's a broken website.

Care, kept honest

After launch, monthly content updates run $99: one batch of small changes, up to an hour's worth, submitted together. Unused time doesn't roll over, and care never hides inside a project total, because recurring costs deserve their own line and your own clear yes. We don't sell malware cleanup or 2 a.m. emergency rescues inside it. Narrow is honest.

Why we publish prices

Studios that publish prices have to be able to defend them. That's the point. Every number on this page is the math of a real business: a person, a process, and a promise that you'll own what you paid for. Your hosting, your domain, and your licenses stay in your name.

We built the Estimate Desk so you can run this math yourself in about two minutes, no email gate, and walk away with a scope card that works as a brief for any studio, even if it isn't us. That's not generosity. It's confidence.

Run your own numbers. The desk does the math in front of you, and the card goes with you whether you hire us or not.
